Research focus: Philosophy of language and the mind.

Sean offers an interactive approach to teaching philosophy in the classroom, ensuring that he does not simply give students information in lectures but, presents ideas, theories and arguments in a way they can follow and engage with on the spot. Questions, comments and criticisms from students are encouraged during lectures, so that the group activity of doing philosophy is an integral part of the learning process.
