Your working environment
Arthur Lewis Building is situated at the heart of campus, close to the University's libraries, cafes and shops.
Arthur Lewis Building is open plan, giving you opportunities to meet other postgraduate researchers and space to chat or discuss your work.
You'll be able to work at a desk close to the academics in your department and we'll give you a locker for your things.
You'll be encouraged to get involved with seminars, lectures and conferences in your discipline area and across the University.
Our student support team are nearby and can help you find the right academic support, training and facilities.
You'll get access to an online handbook, which guides you through your programme, the available academic support and training and teaching opportunities.
Small, informal meeting spaces and kitchen areas make it easier to take those all-important breaks.
You'll get your photocopying for free and contact with University's IT Services team, who can help with WiFi, software and access to IT and library systems.
The cafes in our Arthur Lewis and Humanities Bridgeford Street buildings are a great place to grab a snack or hot drink.
Whatever your area we look forward to welcoming you to our graduate school. We think you will feel at home.
