The minimum entry requirements for admission to our undergraduate courses are listed by country below. The requirements stated may vary depending on the grading system used by the institution. If your country is not listed, or if you have any additional queries, please contact our undergraduate admissions team.

These entry requirements are a guide only and the details may vary depending on your personal circumstances, the content of your application and the course you are applying for.

All applicants must be able to demonstrate acceptable levels of Literacy and Numeracy in English and Mathematics equivalent to the GCSE/IGCSE requirements for the course applied for.

A-Level equivalent requirements

A*AA

Successful completion of year 12 Senior Secondary Certificate (including Mathematics and English) and an overall score of 98 in Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).

AAA

Successful completion of year 12 Senior Secondary Certificate (including Mathematics and English) and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 97.00. For BSc Economics - good grades are required in all year 12 mathematics courses.

AAB

Successful completion of year 12 Senior Secondary Certificate (including Mathematics and English) and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 95.00.

ABB

Successful completion of year 12 Senior Secondary Certificate (including Mathematics and English) and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 94.00.

New Zealand

A-Level equivalent requirements

A*AA

Successful completion of National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA)  with 80 credits overall and 3 subjects with a minimum of 20 credits endorsed at Excellent

AAA

Successful completion of National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA)  with 80 credits overall and 3 subjects with a minimum of 20 credits endorsed at Excellent. For BSc Economics, Mathematics is required at Excellent.

AAB

Successful completion of National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA)  with 80 credits overall with 2 subjects endorsed at Excellent and 1 subject at merit.

ABB

Successful completion of National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) with 80 credits overall with 1 subject endorsed at Excellent and 2 subjects at merit. 

*Applicants will also need to have achieved Mathematics at NCEA level 2.
