Title

A European comparison of gender role attitudes and the domestic division of labour.

Biography

I joined The Cathie Marsh Centre for Census and Survey Research (CCSR) - now part of the Cathie Marsh Institute for Social Research (CMIST) - in 2010 as a first year doctoral student funded by a +3 ESRC studentship award.

Prior to this I spent a year working as a research assistant on several projects for the European Work and Employment Research Centre (EWERC) based at Alliance Manchester Business School; predominantly assisting on a multi-country project funded by the European Commission investigating minimum wages and collective bargaining across Europe. I received my MSc in Sociological Research in 2009 after having gained a First Class Honours BSocSc in Sociology in 2008, both at The University of Manchester.
