Request an appointment
If you would like to request a virtual appointment at our Legal Advice Centre please fill in the form linked below.
The Centre is open during term time only (early October to Mid-December and early February until the Easter break) subject to appointment availability.
An appointment will be made for you to attend a virtual clinic hosted on Zoom, where you will be interviewed by two student advisors, supervised by an academic or a volunteer lawyer.
Legal advice will not be given at the interview. The student advisors will research your problem and send you a letter of advice, usually 14 days from the date of your appointment, which will be prepared under supervision of the academic supervisor.
The Centre provides an advice only service. We cannot provide representation in any court or tribunal or contact an opponent on your behalf.
The Legal Advice Centre aims to provide advice in the areas of:
- Employment Law
- Family Law
- Landlord and Tenant Issues
- Mental Capacity Law
- Small Claims
- Consumer and Contract
- Wills and Probate
- Small Business
