Student spotlights
Our students share their experiences of studying Social Anthropology in one of the most exciting, multicultural, and alternative cities in Britain.
Student Life
We are a diverse group of staff and students who come from all over the world. Our department is known for being friendly and supportive, a tight-knit community that shares a commitment to thinking outside the box.
There are always intellectual and social events happening around the department, whether that is the Armchair Anthropologist talks that the student-led Active Anthropology Society organises or Pint with Professors at the pub. For more information on the Active Anthropology Society, follow them on Facebook or Instagram.
