CDTS Summer School 2024
This summer, join us for a 5-day course that will enable you to understand and explore the nature digital harms and the cross-cutting research and opportunities that relate to digital trust and society.
This course will enable you to understand the nature of digital harms, from online crimes to the malicious manipulation of information, the influence of behaviours and attitudes, and transcending the digital boundaries to effect physical and psychological attacks. We will explore the different ways in which those harms can be reduced or prevented so that you can make well-informed choices about countering security threats in personal, societal and business contexts. Moreover, we will learn about cross-cutting research on digital trust and society and discuss the methodological challenges and opportunities associated with research in this domain.
Cost: £150pp, including food and accommodation from Monday-Friday and a free walking-tour.

Digital Trust and Security Guest Seminar Series
We run a series of seminars featuring a guest speaker in each session. Following each presentation there will be an opportunity for Q&A and engaging discussion. These events are designed to provide insights into key developments, challenges, and opportunities within related to trust and security in digital contexts. Our seminars are facilitated by the Digital Futures team and hosted by our research cluster leads.
These events are open to both internal and external attendees and free to attend.
