Seán was a recipient of the Fund Professor Roger Borghgraef Scholarship (granted by the University of Leuven, for students pursuing a master's in Bioethics at KU Leuven), and the Medical Law Prize at Queen Mary University of London for the best overall LLM mark in Medical Law.
Paolo holds an Erasmus Mundus MSc in Bioethics from KU Leuven, RU Nijmegen, and University of Padua, and an MA in Philosophy and Bioethics from UCSC Milan. Paolo's PhD research focuses on Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues in Novel Neurobiological Approaches to Psychosis and Schizophrenia.
Caroline is pursuing a PhD in Law at the School of Law's Centre for Social Ethics and Policy. Her supervisors are Neil Cobb and Dr Alexandra Mullock. In 2017 she gave a conference presentation on "Raging hormones" and criminal responsibility: premenstrual tensions in the law and a potential defence for "that crime of the month".
