Finding a supervisor
We understand how important it is that you find the right supervisor for your research thesis.
Our varied research interests allow us to offer postgraduate research supervision in a wide variety of topics and regions.
Our supervisors work across a range of Criminology research themes:
- Fraud, white-collar and organised crime
- Prisons, punishment and policing
- Inequalities connected to offending and victimisation
- Violence and its aftermath
- Drug markets, consumption and policy
You do not need to contact a member of academic staff before submitting your application for the Criminology PhD. However, it is a good idea to ensure that the research you wish to carry out is a good fit within our department.
Explore our staff who work within these research areas and what they would be keen to supervise, we are always happy to receive emails from potential applicants, and provide feedback on your initial research proposal draft.
Search our staff list, their research interests and contact potential supervisors.
