Academic requirements

Applicants must hold, or expect to achieve a Masters at Merit level, including 65% overall average, 65% in dissertation and no mark below 55%

This funding is available to all nationalities.

Other eligibility criteria

 Current PhD students are NOT eligible for PDS.

Offer holders of the School's PhD programmes starting in September are automatically considered for this funding - no further application is required.

Applications will be ranked by the Department and School based on academic track record and quality of research proposal

Closing date

01 Feb 2022

Candidates need to have been offered a place on the PhD programme for September entry by  Monday 1 February 2022 at the latest . Please note that late applications will not be included in the competition.
