Social movements and protest
Our research looks at the ways in which social movements and protest impact cultural policies and wider society.
We focus on political engagement among non-politicians. This includes a broad range of research looking at many different groups in society, from youth activism to the Far Right.
Our work spans historic protest movements, such as the Suffragettes in Great Britain, right up to the present day.
