Innovations in qualitative and mixed methodologies
This cluster develops new and existing ways of doing social research to help us understand more about the societies in which we live.
In it, we use qualitative and multi-method approaches, including facet methodology, sensory and visual methods, social network analysis, analysis of 'big' data, qualitative longitudinal panel studies and meta-ethnography. This cluster provides training in these research methods through methods@manchester, the Morgan Centre, and the Mitchell Centre.
