- The Comparative Public Policy and Institutions cluster examines key themes public policy, political process and institutions in contemporary democracies.
- The group seeks to develop a strong interdisciplinary and comparative outlook. It is interested in pursuing excellence through methodological and theoretical innovation as well as policy-relevant research.
- Members of the group engage in a wide range of approaches including the use of qualitative and quantitative analysis, experiments and mixed methods. Our group's research activities also include a broader range of comparative politics agendas.
- Areas of particular strength include gender and the policy process, the policy agenda, European and EU politics, the media, rhetoric and public policy, democratic reforms processes, and the role of bureaucracy.
