Eman was distinguished with a fully-funded scholarship in 2008 from the Ministry of Education of her home country, Bahrain, to pursue her undergraduate studies in the United Arab Emirates University. She obtained her BSc in Economics with a GPA of 3.97 out of 4.00 which enabled her to be on the Dean’s Honour list for three consecutive years. Her knowledge was further strengthened by attaining an MSc degree in Economics from The University of Manchester, where she was awarded a distinction in the dissertation component. Currently, Eman is fully funded by the ESRC for her PhD studies and is affiliated with the Macroeconomics, Growth and Development research area group.
