Social Statistics is the newest discipline area within the School of Social Sciences (SoSS) and one of very few such groupings in the UK.

We have over twenty academic staff (including five professors).

We have a large complement of PhD students through our close relationship with the Cathie Marsh Institute for Social Research (CMIST).
