Resources and facilities

We ensure our Social Anthropology research students have an excellent workspace and access to extensive materials.

Desk, lockers and and computing facilities are provided in a dedicated study area, adjacent to Social Anthropology staff offices.

As a postgraduate research student in Social Anthropology, you will also have access to our excellent Film Library which contains over 2000 titles, as well as outstanding collections in The University Library.

If you study the PhD Social Anthropology with Visual Media or the MPhil Ethnographic Documentary MPhil, you will also benefit from supervision and resources provided by the Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology, recognised globally as the world's leading centre for visual anthropology. Our dedicated centre means you will have access to professional equipment and the support of internationally renowned staff during your studies.
