Projects and Networks
RICC has ongoing research and network projects, both individual and collaborative. Our collaborative projects and networks bring together scholars from various disciplines departments across the University, as well as from other Universities nationally and internationally. RICC members are also actively engaged in individual research, outreach programmes, projects with the community, and media debates. - Manchester Digital Media Network received funding from methods@manchester for methods-related research and training activities in 2011-12. The second workshop on 'Methods and Challenges of Researching Social Networking Sites' will be held on 20 March 2012. Full details and registration information.
- Diasporic Pathways for Aspiring Cosmopolitan Cities was awarded cities@manchester, the university's initiative to highlight work on cities ongoing in Manchester. Following extensive pilot research a workshop was held in July 2012, which included a lecture by Prof. Paul Gilroy. Details.
