Vital Signs 2: Keynote speakers

We are really pleased to be able to announce our four keynote speakers. Together they share an intellectual engagement with methodological issues in research and they each bring a different disciplinary perspective to Vital Signs 2.

Professor David Inglis (Cultural Sociology, University of Aberdeen)

Professor Nigel Rapport (Anthropology/Philosophy, University of St Andrews)

Nigel's plenary session is entitled Voice, History and Vertigo: Doing justice to dead voices through imaginative conversation

Professor Gillian Rose (Geography, Open University)

Gillian's plenary session is entitled Inhabiting spaces, seeing things: complex visualities and the making of private spaces (Working Title)

Professor Jennifer Mason (Sociology, University of Manchester)

Jennifer's plenary session is entitled Knowing the In/tangible
