Vital Signs 2: Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will be at the Whitworth Art Gallery, a 10 minute walk from the conference venue (there are lots of buses/taxis on Oxford Road too).
The gallery is open for dinner guests from 7pm when you can have a drink and a look round the galleries. Dinner will start from 7.30pm. View the Whitworth Art Gallery website [new window]

The cost of the dinner is to be subsidised so delegates just pay a supplement of £15 towards costs:
Sample Menu
Food will be slightly different from most conference dinners: you will be able to help yourself to a range of starters, main course and puddings. There will be an Italian theme to the dinner. The dinner will not be entirely vegetarian, unlike the conference lunches, but it will be vegetarian-friendly.
Starters
Anti pasti:
- House marinated olives
- Roast sweet peppers, parsley and capers
- Griddled Aubergine, rocket and buffalo mozzerella
- Parma ham, seasonal fruit and parmesan
- Barbakan bread, butter, extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic
Main Courses
- Risotto of courgettes, peas, mint and pecorino
- Italian stew of Chicken, olives and plum tomatoes
- Griddled new season vegetables
Dessert
- Pancotta and fruit compote
