How to apply
There are two ways you can apply for postgraduate study at The University of Manchester.
All applications for Postgraduate Diploma/Masters courses must also supply the following supporting information:
- Copies of degree certificates and transcripts.
- TOEFL/IELTS certificate (non-native English speaking applicants only)
- Two academic references.
- Economics applicants please click here for further information on what you are required to submit.
- Statement of purpose (Visual Anthropology applicants only).
Once your application has been received you will be contacted by our Admissions Team, and you may be asked to submit additional information if necessary (eg academic references).

Fast Track Application (School of Social Sciences Undergraduates Only)
If you are on-track to obtaining a 2:1 or above you are eligible to apply for a taught masters course via the fast-track application scheme. Please click here for more details.
