British Election Study

The British Election Study is one of the longest running election studies world-wide and is an invaluable resource for political scientists. It’s a great responsibility and privilege to oversee the direction of the study during such an interesting political period.

Prof Ed Fieldhouse / Co-Director, BES

The British Election Study (BES) is one of the longest running election studies in the world, making a major contribution to the understanding of Britain’s political attitudes and behaviour.

Since 1964, BES has generated an unparalleled source of data, helping countless students, politicians,  journalists and academics understand the changing patterns of British politics.

You can find out more at the official BES website.
