In 2010, I graduated with a bachelors in Economics from the University of Essex and completed a masters in Economics at The University of Manchester in 2011. I then spent over two years working as an English teacher in Saudi Arabia. Since 2014, I have been a PhD student in Economics researching the relationship between trade and economic with an emphasis on resource rich economies.
My general research interests lie in Applied Macroeconomics. I am also a member of the Macroeconomics Research Area Group (RAG).
I am being supervised by Dr Emranul Haque and Dr Simon Peters.
