EDACwowe (European Data Centre for Work and Welfare) is an initiative under the EU Framework 6 Network of Excellence "Reconciling Work and Welfare in Europe" (RECWOWE) to provide researchers with an easier access to comparative European data sources.
Our site provides you with direct links to standardized information on more than 500 data sources on WORK and WELFARE and closely related fields, as well as sources containing EU comparative and national data, and quantitative as well as qualitative data.
EDACwowe Data Retrieval Workshop is an introduction and user guide to
EDACwowe. It will explain EDACwowe and its resources that can help you to access data and information concerning data in an easy manner.
The workshop consists of a short introduction and a series of practical
assignments that aim to show you how to use the browse and search
functions on our website in order to find the exact data you need. Through these assignments you will know more about interesting comparative data sources on the web, as well as about some interesting web based data analysis and retrieval instruments. There will also be a chance to ask us any questions concerning comparative data and our website, and more.
The duration of the workshop is approximately one hour.
