These pages describe the Summer School courses as they were last delivered in May-June 2011. These were fully subscribed and received further positive feedback from participants. However, as the courses have now been running for three years, we are currently having a review of both the format and the timing, and do not expect to be able to announce our plans for next year until some point in the Autumn Semester of 2011. In the meantime, if you wish to be notified of the announcement of arrangements for 2012, please contact the administrator, Noémie Rouault at the address below.

"Terrific all round training, gave us the language and technique to explore further." Trevor Marchand, Senior Lecturer in Anthropology, School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, Production Course, 2009

"In an academic climate where research councils are obsessed with impact, this course offers academics innovative and imaginative avenues for telling scholarly stories in new ways to reach broader audiences."
Julie-Marie Strange, Lecturer in History, University of Manchester, Production Course 2010

"...Having done this course, my way of doing fieldwork will never be the same." Ana Isobel Afonso, Lecturer in Anthropology, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Production Course 2010

"This is a brilliant opportunity for students and professionals alike to think through the ethnographic experience." Adam St. Clair, PhD student, University of Manchester, Post Production Course 2010
