Remaking Eastern Borders in Europe: a network exploring social moral and material relocations of Europes Eastern Peripheries a COST action project of the European Science Foundation (IS0803) awarded for four years beginning in early 2009 to Professor Sarah Green approximately This is a major transnational network of researchers who have collectively amassed 5 million EURO in terms of time and resources for study of the borders of the eastern peripheries of Europe (see EastBordNet Site ). (The minimum total award to operate the network is 400,000. EURO.)

Unsettling the State: A Collaborative Ethnography of Ambiguity and Experimentation in Regional Government in Peru is an ACLS funded collaboration between Professor Penny Harvey and Professor Deborah Poole of The Johns Hopkins University to run 18 mos over 2011 - 2012. (Total: 140,000. USD)

Immigrant Pathways and Barriers to Health Care is a pilot study carried out by Nina Glick-Schiller with funding from the Volkswagen Foundation between 2008 - 2009. (20,000. EUR). Nina is also a Consulting Researcher on a large multi-researcher project which is funded by a Danish National Strategic Research Grant during 2010 - 2014, entitled "Social Cohesion and Ethnic Diversity: National Values, Local Implications" and is the holder of a University of New Hampshire President's Excellence Award during 2006 - 2008.
