Comparative Public Policy
The Comparative Public Policy cluster examines the causes and consequences of public policies in contemporary democracies. The group seeks to develop a strong interdisciplinary and comparative outlook. It is interested in pursuing excellence through methodological and theoretical innovation as well as policy-relevant research. Members of the group engage in a wide range of approaches including the use of qualitative and quantitative analysis, experiments and mixed methods. Areas of particular strength include gender and the policy process, the policy agenda, European and EU politics, social policy, the media, rhetoric and public policy, and the role of bureaucracy.
