Research interests
I am interested in studying how the interplay between domestic factors, international constraints, changing ideas and policy paradigms influence the evolution of Foreign Policy. Specifically, I focus on the role of ideas and policy paradigms in the shift of Mexican Foreign Policy during Fox's administration. Moreover, I am interested on influence of elites and epistemic communities and I consider the importance of democratic processes in shaping new conceptions of Foreign Policy.
