Philosophy of Religion
Michael Scott is interested in all areas of philosophy of religion with particular emphasis on religious language. The bulk of his recent work has been on the realism/antirealism problem. In collaborative work, Michael Scott and Graham Stevens have recently published a paper on whether the possibility of divine knowledge enforces a form of semantic realism. More collaborative work by Chris Daly, David Liggins, and Michael Scott has investigated the prospects for religious fictionalism.
