Research
We are generally held responsible for our intentional actions because they are under our control. Our emotional life and personality do not seem to be under our control in the same way as our actions are, and yet we are often treated as if we are responsible for these aspects of ourselves. Are we responsible for what we are like in these ways? If so how?
