Sharing Ends
A one day workshop: Sharing Ends
To be held at the University of Manchester on Tuesday 13th May 2008.
Venue: A116 Samuel Alexander Building.
All are welcome and there is no registration fee: any refreshments or meals will be at one's own expense.

Intended themes
- What sorts of "ends" can be shared? Intentions, reasons, commitments, values? In particular can affective as well as cognitive and conative states be shared?
- What sorts of "sharing" are there? Replication/simulation, fellow-feeling, empathy, sympathy, contagion, inheritance, vicariousness, agreement, merging, etc.
- What sorts of association give rise to the sharing of ends?
