Bio

Jason Shogren is an expert in applied microeconomic theory, with particular interest in experimental and environmental economics. His research focuses on the behavioural underpinnings of private choice and public policy, especially on environmental and natural resources. His range of expertise has contributed to a dozen books and over 80 book chapters. He has more than 200 refereed publications in journals such as the American Economic Review, J.Political Economy, J.Econ Behaviour & Organisation, J. Public Economics, J. Economic Psychology, J. Environmental Economics & Management and American J. Ag Econ. He currently holds the position of Stroock Professor of Natural Resource Conservation and Management in the Department of Economics and Finance at the University of Wyoming.
