3 Permanent Lectureships in Economics
Ref:HUM-00669
To further strengthen our research portfolio, in line with our strategic research objectives, the School of Social Sciences wishes to appoint three lectureships in Economics, tenable from 1st August 2012.
We wish to appoint dynamic researchers who, collectively and in collaboration with existing staff, have the potential to further enhance the quality of our future research. Ideally this will be achieved through theoretically-informed applied work in either macroeconomics and microeconomics (for example, in the area of policy evaluation), although this should not deter high quality applications in any area of economics, including development and environmental economics.
Areas of strategic importance, where we would welcome applications, are
- applied microeconometrics,
- industrial organisation,
- behaviourial economics,
- financial economics,
international macroeconomics / macrofinance, - development microeconomics and
- health.
Salary will be within the range £32,751 to £45,336 (Grade 6/7) depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
Full further particulars (University web site).
